Fundraiser for the Arlington Cowboy Football Program in Memory of Mike deZonna

Each year since 1964, the Arlington Cowboy Football Program, a 100% volunteer group, has provided an organized program for thousands of children who love the game of football. This year we honor Coach Mike deZonna who died suddenly last year during the peak of the season. Mike embodied what a Cowboy coach should be and for this we are honoring him.
The Cowboy program keeps its registration fees relatively low to encourage maximum participation. This year we have excellent participation with over 625 players in our tackle and flag programs. Each year we hold an event to raise funds for the program. This is our only fund raiser. Last year we used the donated funds to purchase new, safer, helmets for every player in the program. We also bought new flags for every flag player and 300 pair of new game pants. We hope to raise enough funds this year to acquire at least 200 new pair of shoulder pads, 200 more game pants, and new field markers for the Flag program.
With this letter we ask for whatever you can provide. Each player has a goal of $50.00. Parents, grandparents, family friends are welcome to participate. Hundreds of families, nearly 5,000 people, enjoy Cowboys football games for 8-10 weeks each year. Your donation will go a long way to help the program this year and going forward.
